A Certified Financial Planner^TM’s first obligation is to the client. The CFP^© designation is an indicator of knowledge and ethical integrity that should put you at ease about their capabilities of your financial support.

The CFP^© designation is regulated by The CFP^© Board (www.cfp.net)  which is a non-profit organization that sets and enforces  professional standards for financial planning. It issues certifications to professionals who have undergone an educational process, passed an examination and have a of experience that the board has determined necessary to maintain high-level standards of the profession.
